This easy version of the classic tangy yogurt dip makes a quick appetizer to serve with assorted vegetable crudités and grilled pita triangles or as an accompaniment to grilled pork, chicken skewers or fish fillets.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Makes about 2 cups (500 mL)

1/2 cup (125 mL) plain yogurt
1/2 cup (125 mL) Ontario sour cream
1 cup (250 mL) drained, coarsely grated Ontario greenhouse cucumber
1/2 tsp (2 mL) lemon pepper
Pinch garlic powder

In medium bowl, combine yogurt, sour cream, cucumber, lemon pepper and powder. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 day.

Tip: Grate the cucumber on the coarse side of a cheese grater then drain in a sieve, pressing with a spatula to squeeze out excess liquid before measuring.
