There are all sorts of nature walks, but there’s only one Westboro Nature Walk—featuring a dozen images from world-renowned photographer Michelle Valberg. Since 2019, the streets of Westboro Village have showcased these eye-catching traffic-box installations and last fall the collection was expanded from nine to 12.
Now that the weather is pleasant, it’s an ideal time to stroll, scooter or cycle along Richmond Road to view each of the displays. You can find them using the digital Westboro Village Nature Walk map available via westborovillage.com/nature-walk/.
Michelle is a Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence, Nikon ambassador and recent Order of Canada recipient with over 40 years of experience. Her work focuses on the beauty of nature and invites viewers to appreciate the world around them. She collaborated with the Westboro Village BIA to curate a collection of Canadian nature scenes, bringing the essence of Canada into the urban village. westborovillage.com.
